This song (Town In Rainbows) is one of the oldest songs in The Valles Flying Machines song bag..it was 1st concieved back in 1988 @ Texas Joe's 1st music store job (High School Music Service in Brownsville Texas now defunct) on a cold winter day when business was slow and Joe was alone in the small music shop strumming on a Shiny new Black Beauty Gibson Les Paul ! ..Eloy happened to drop by from work and noticed Texas Joe was working on a riff similar to... Mountains... Silver Paper..and Eloy liked its very psychadeelic vibe...and commented on how it would be a great song idea to work on..which the brothers did indeed work on and made one of thier most enduring and famous songs..from the sitar like droning riff...which is central to the song ...an epic was born..!
Town in Rainbows was..written by Texas Joe Valles ..complete with lyrics...but Eloy and Noe Valles rewrote some of the lyrics chopped and changed it so the song would flow smoothly....The song has a very eastern style vibe to it..but it still is very hard rock and psychadelic..in and at its core of an idea and has been a crowd favorite for many years...the song has been played on Hollywood Stages, all across Texas.Shows....in Mexico...Miami Florida...and on internet radio all over the world...
Town in Rainbows..has never been properly recorded in a studio..but many copies of the song exist in a live format in the Valles Brothers song vault...
This particular version was recorded in Waco Texas..by Chris Ermoian and his brother T.J. Ermoian and thier entire video and audio staff(Texas Music Cafe)...at the Wacio Hippodrome Theatre..Live in May of 2001 on Alesis ADATS.... PLUS VIDEO Footage..! AND is an EXCELLENT VERSION of the song WE HOPE YOU ENJOY..!
