Landing Amongst The Giant Mushrooms..is a concept album Texas Joe Valles and Eloy Valles have been working on since 2003..it is a story set in the future 500 years from now ..a giant spaceship leaves the Rio Grande Valley in Texas with 33 percent of the population on board..and Texas Joe Valles is the Captain of the ship...and are headed 7 light years out of the galaxy to colonize a giant planet..with Forest pines the size of skyscrapers and mushrooms the size of houses !!!!
The Idea for the song has been around since 2003...V.F.M. recorded a home demo version in 2003 ..but this version was done @421 Studios with Rudy Rodriguez...this past fall of 2009...in Brownsville Texas..on a Pro Tools rig not more than 20 tracks were used...this song is the 2nd time we use a Theremin..Noe Valles played that instrument ..Eloy Valles sings the song and plays drums...Texas Joe Valles plays all guitars..also ..listen closely as the Frog sounding guitar is also Texas Joe using some rather intresting effects...enjoy ! the song is priced accordingly if a fan of the V.F.M. wants the song before the album comes out..!
